Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Concord, NC on a full-time basis. The Role. GM Motorsports Performance Engineering is seeking a Motorsports Vehicle Testing and Instrumentation Engineer to join our growing program. Working with the GM Motorsports Data Acquisition group to support Nascar Cup, Xfinity, Truck, and Indy. Car programs you will instrument, and record data required during all stages of life: on track, wind tunnel, and lab testing. Test data analysis will be required during and immediately following each test/race. Travel to the races on a regular basis will not be required but live support at all test sessions and some key races may be requested. What Youll Do. Instrument test vehicles prior to and during track and/or lab testing with GM owned equipment.
