Position Code:4730 Reports To:Supervisor, Dietary BASIC FUNCTION - Organize, prepare and deliver food according to the nutrition needs of Gundersen Moundview patients, employees, and guests while maintaining high standards of quality, sanitation and safety. Provide prompt and courteous customer service. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES - Participates in formal and informal on-the-job training in food preparation, cooking, requisitioning and storing of food and supplies, therapeutic diets, electronic health records and basic computer skills. Follows standardized recipes and accurately portions according to daily census and production sheet. Follows the facility diet manual and uses resources to make decisions pertaining to menu substitutions and interpretation of diets ordered.
