Direct ReportAction Point Wheels ManagerEmployee Profile and Desired Traits•High level emotional intelligence•Active in team dynamics, conflict prevention/resolution, and identifying customer needs•Cheerful attitude and servant leadership disposition•Dedicated customer service and people oriented•Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn and develop hard and soft skills•Ability to interact with men and women of all ages and maturity levels of staff/customersDuties & Responsibilities•Present the MTB program through cheerful, helpful, and efficient service•Ensure that participants have a safe and enjoyable experience•Assist in the set up and takedown of the MTB trails, tracks, and other facilities•Properly inspect, appropriately use, and maintain all bikes, equipment, and supplies•Guide and sweep biking groups on trails•Demonstrate proper riding technique and instruction to guests•Turn paperwork into supervisor timeline and accurately•Maintain a cleaning, organized, inspected, neat and safe work area•Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership•Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbookQualifications & Training•18 years of age or older•Proficiency riding a mountain bike•Preferred: Experience maintaining and riding mountain bikes•Preferred: Experience teaching MTB•Good communication and organizational skills•Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination•Be or become a registered member of Scouting AmericaPerformance Results•Completes contract period with 2-4 positive experiences•Receive one or more Staff Appreciation Cards from staff or participants•Contribute at least one improvement to Biking program•Provide at least one memorable moment that matters to a participantPhysical Requirements•Up to 8 hours a day of either standing, walking, biking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.•Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements UniformSummit staff uniformHousing10x12' Platform Tent; Staff CampExpected Weekly Hours45 - 55
