Coordinate and direct the mounting department and order plates and sleeves as needed. Operate the mounting machine in the safest, most effective and efficient manner while adhering to established quality standards. SHIFT: 12-HR NIGHTSESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Participate in training, embrace concepts of and actively practice the STOP Safety Program fundamentals to aid American Packaging Corporations efforts to achieve a zero-accident rate. Complete a minimum of 2 STOP cards per month. Orders all replacement plates. Orders Sleeves needed. Selects and tracks all sleeves for laminations and assigns them to orders. Also assigns sleeves that need to be machined for lamination orders. Track plates for wear. Coordinate mounting area. Train mounters on techniques in mounting. Coordinate mounting schedule.
