MoverDepartment: Trucking Employment Type: Full Time Location: New York Description To work on all aspects of removals, collections, deliveries, and instillations of personal effects, art, and antiques under the management of immediate supervisor. Key Responsibilities
- Collections and deliveries on a daily basis, locally and interstate as needed
- Assist with paperwork when on site or working in the field, including all condition reporting for goods
- Work with the Driver to ensure vehicle is always safe, clean, and prepared for the day or trip as required, verify what goods are needed as the start of every day or trip based on the daily trip sheet or trip manifest
- Ensure all modifications to the daily trip manifest are reported and verified by the Dispatch Manager prior to making any modifications
- Proper handling of art objects, fragile and artistic material, antique, and fine furniture
- Assist with installations projects
- Preparation of condition checks and condition reports as needed
- Pack artworks, antiquities, and fine furniture for transportation and storage
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks
- Able to work and communicate effectively with the crew
- Ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every job
General

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma/ GED required
- Two years of experience in moving and art handling industry; packing handling, and installing art, furniture, and antiquities on a local and interstate basis
- Two years of logistical, warehousing, and moving experience
- Understanding of inventory processes and the ability to learn how to improve on handling furniture, art, and antiquities from collection through to instillation
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Impeccable communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to accurately execute detailed paperwork and condition reporting
- Team player, able to work with all levels of staff in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable in a results-driven workplace
- Professional demeanor at all times
- Experience with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, jbars, dollies, and other necessary logistics equipment
- Ability to safely lift 70 pounds and maneuver objects of substantial size and weight on a daily basis without damage to object or person, including the ability to push and pull 150 pounds on a dolly cart
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach overhead
- Employees must work co-operatively and supportively with other employees.

- Employees must be aware to act as an ambassador for Cadogan Tate and ensure that at all times when on company business a professional and courteous manner is projected.
