Job Description: - Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies. - Provide radiologists with necessary images to obtain diagnostic results for comprehensive reporting. - Orient physicians, residents, staff, and student technologists on objectives and applications of magnetic resonance imaging, along with safety practices. - Assist nursing staff, e.g., witness medication disposal and document in Pyxis. - Ensure effective communication with patients, physicians, and other personnel. - Apply high levels of analytical and critical thinking skills to perform appropriate scans based on patient's history and protocol. - Maintain a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and aseptic and sterile techniques. - Demonstrate knowledge of the physics involved in performing magnetic resonance imaging exams and the use of all equipment necessary for a complete examination.
