MRI Technician - Axelon : Job Details

Job Description: PAY RANGE: 63$/hr - 65$/h SHIFT SCHEDULE : Evening | 15:00 - 23:00 700 Beds (across 2 campuses) Level 1 Trauma Center Teaching Facility Busy department. Perform a variety of exams, to include neuro & 3T Prostate exams Client 3 Tesla and Client 1.5 Tesla 1. Demonstrates the ability to perform clinical/technical/service/administrative tasks. 2. Performs MRI imaging procedures. Operates and/or prepares specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures. 3. Assists, prepares and positions patients as required to perform MRI procedures. 4. Applies the necessary technical judgment to obtain studies of an acceptable diagnostic quality according to written protocols and the patients' needs. Experience/Certification/Education: NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License R.T. (R) (MR) (ARRT) NYS Injection/IV Certification - will consider strong candidates who take the IV placement course & site will arrange physician skills sign-off on-site. BLS 1 year experience minimum, 2 years preferred.
