Requirements
- Completion of an AMA approved program for Radiologic Technology.
- Minimum of five (5) years Radiologic Technology experience, with one (1) year in MRI
- Current New York State Licensed in Radiologic Technology
- Current Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
- Time Management Skills
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Has knowledge and proficiency in the use of (and troubleshooting) the Teleradiology system
Job DescriptionThe MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Technologist is responsible for performing all Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures, including, MRA (Magnetic Resonance Angiography), MRV (Magnetic Resonance Venography), and MIPS. Involves close patient and physician contact.
