*Job Summary*We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. As an RN at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center 7p-7:30a, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for individuals with various medical conditions. Your expertise in trauma medicine and internal medicine will be essential in delivering exceptional care to our patients.*Responsibilities*- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and medical history.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.- Perform catheterization and other necessary procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the medical team.- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and recovery.- Participate in diagnostic evaluations and assist in trauma-related cases as needed.- Uphold high standards of hygiene and infection control within the unit.*Qualifications*- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.- Experience in a Medical/Surgical setting preferred; ICU experience is a plus.- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.- Familiarity with memory care principles is desirable.- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to best practices in nursing care.Join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients through your nursing expertise!Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract, PRN, Per diemPay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hourMedical Specialty:* Medical-SurgicalPhysical Setting:* HospitalExperience:* Nursing: 3 years (Preferred)* MS: 3 years (Preferred)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Preferred)* RN (Required)Location:* Ogdensburg, NY 13669 (Preferred)Work Location: In person%{{advertiserId}}% %%{{category}}%%
