Multi-Laborer - CordeValle : Job Details

DescriptionOVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTIONS: Under the supervision of the Director of Engineering, the Multi-Laborer will perform all necessary job functions to insure that the golf & resort are maintained at the highest level of quality possible at all times. QUALIFICATIONS:Essential:

Must be able to understand written and spoken directions in English and / or Spanish

Must be able to work outside in extreme heat and all weather conditions.

Must be available to work early morning shifts, weekends and holidays.

Must be able to safely perform manual labor; lifting up to 50lbs.

Ability to work independently or as part of a group.

Desirable:

Landscaping maintenance experience

Previous experience with using small power tools and / or walking mowers

SKILLS:Essential:

Ability to safely use a shovel, rake, pick and any other hand tools

Ability to drive an electric, gasoline or diesel powered utility cart

General knowledge of landscape ornamental maintenance & installation

Desirable:

Ability to repair drip irrigation and other small landscape issues

Ability to use chainsaws, power edgers and backpack blowers

3 General knowledge of fertilizing plants and lawns RESPONSIBILTIES:

Mow turf around clubhouse grounds & guest rooms

Edge plants & turf along walk paths & driveways

Daily cleanup around buildings & grounds

Trim hedges, trees, roses, & bushed associated with grounds

Ensure drains are cleaned annually, before rain season

Apply fertilizer and chemicals

Maintain grounds around the resort

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in other project work as necessary

Assist other departments when the need arises
