JOB SUMMARY:

The Multi-site Facilities Technician performs a broad range of work from simple to moderate repairs and improvements to local Midmark commercial buildings and properties. This work includes, but is not limited to, minor plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, interior, and exterior repairs. This role is responsible for periodic maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repair of commercial appliances, building systems, hotel, restaurant equipment and furniture.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

* Provides support, as needed, for all Midmark Darke County locations including Hotel Versailles, Riverwatch, Stillwater Valley Golf Course, Midmark Hangar, Town Square Apartments, Sycamore Farms, Midmark Business Center, and Technology Center

* Inspects, operates, or tests facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues

* Utilizes electronic work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders to support Midmark facilities, teammates, and document repair activities

* Provides simple to moderate construction repairs and touchups including, but not limited to, carpentry, drywall, paint, stain, and masonry

* Troubleshoots, repairs, and performs periodic maintenance including, but not limited to, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems

* Performs daily/weekly/monthly/yearly preventative maintenance including, but not limited to, buildings, utilities, HVAC, furniture, and equipment

* Performs simple to moderate installation of commercial appliances

* Utilizes hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete tasks

* Completes all required training requirements to safely operate equipment and tools

* Provides support to the Safety Manager by performing and/or coordinating regular checks (ex. Alarm and riser, fire extinguisher, AED, exit signage, etc.)

* May be required to operate an industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products

* Completes maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely manner

* Provides prompt response to emergency maintenance calls

* Directly assists Facilities Manager with projects and outside venders

* Maintains a clean and a safe workspace

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma, or equivalent and 3 or more years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical degree is preferred.

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

* Comprehensive mechanical and problem solving skills

* Ability to interpret blueprints or other technical specifications

* Proficient with standard computer programs, including MS Office

* Ability to work independently or as part of a team

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities with little supervision

* Attention to detail
