Kingsley Gate has been retained to recruit a Multi Site Plant Leader.

Position Name: Multi Plant Leader (MPL)

Position ofdirect manager: VP Head of Global Manuf. Ops, Matrix reporting to Business Unit Head

Objective & Goal of Position:

The MPL is to oversee operational activities at every level of the multi plant unit and to:

1. Ensure all operations are carried on in a safe manner.

2. Help the organization's processes remain legally compliant.

3. Look for ways to engage employees and be able to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within the operations team.

4. Identify and implement process improvements and procedures towards meeting customer expectations in terms of quality & cost-effectiveness.

5. Make the workplace more effective and efficient.

6. Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.

7. Remain efficient and profitable during the course of business.

8. Assure best practice is being shared, and synergies are reached between the plants in the multi plant unit.

Responsibilities & Tasks

1. Management HSE, promote and assure a robust safety culture in all plants, based on pro-active risk prevention, with measurable achievements.

2. Remain compliant with all regulations at all time.

3. Own end-to-end operations across the production plants in the multi plant unit, including multi-site manufacturing, have matrix responsibility over supply chain units.

4. Strive to achieve Global Manufacturing Ops KPI targets across all the plants.

5. Formulate operational objectives across the production plants aimed at improving performance.

6. Assure best in class internal customer service and implement best practices.

7. Assure Quality of manufactured items.

8. Assure profitable growth. Increase efficiency of existing processes and procedures. Reduce cost per unit, yield a sustainable impact on results such as cycle time, quality, inventory, labor productivity, rework , overweight.

9. Lead, recruit, train and motivate staff and mentor team members. Track staffing requirements, hire new employees as needed. Prepare career development plans for direct reports.

10. Manage budgets and forecasts. Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability. Conduct budget reviews and report to upper management.

11. Optimize inventory levels (focus on raw materials and WIP).

12. Support evaluation of capex projects including operational business cases, ROI, payback.

13. Drive plant sustainability (ZWTLF) and green energy across plants in the multi plant unit.

14. Implement Manufacturing Operations managerial routines, methods, processes, and standards.

Knowledge & Qualifications:

1. Degree in Engineering, Science or similar, an advanced degree is a plus.

2. A track record of experience in managing multi-site operations and senior operations leadership roles with a dynamic and results-driven global manufacturing business.

3. Experience and exposure to extrusion/plastics manufacturing, preferably in a diverse geographic manufacturing environment.

4. Knowledge and track record of operational improvement within organizations recognized as complex and best-in-class in manufacturing and have track records of driving change management initiatives.

5. Strong foundation in team-oriented processes with appreciation for importance of marketplace trend monitoring and analysis.

6. Fluency in French & English is required.
