Position summary: The Maintenance Multicraft is responsible for maintaining complex electrical and mechanical equipment and executing projects and other assignments requiring electrical and mechanical skills. Educational requirements: High school diploma or GED required Technical school certificate preferred Skills and experience:

Must Have:

-Strong electrical skillset with experience in both industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance

- Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings

- Working knowledge of controls components including but not limited to PLCs, HMIs, Inverters, etc.

- Ability to handle both complex electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment

Preferred:

- Mig and Arch welding experience

- Ability to obtain powered lift equipment license

- Written and verbal communication skills

Essential duties: -Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems -Participate in short-term facility and equipment projects utilizing mechanical and/or electrical skills -Participate in Preventative Maintenance program -Minimize equipment downtime and maximize equipment effectiveness -Be actively engaged in departmental and company wide improvement initiatives -Execute weekly assignments as scheduled by Team Leader -Complete documentation of work performed utilizing tools and resources in place -Support Operations, Quality and Process departments -Comply with Safety and Environmental procedures, regulations and initiatives including Lock Out/Tag Out. -Understand and support Interface's commitment to sustainability. -Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) -Maintain housekeeping -Perform other duties as assigned Physical demands: Lifting up to 40 lbs Standing for long periods of time Extensive walking Climbing ladders and stairs Work environment: Non-climate controlled manufacturing environment.
