A Multi-craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting problems on production lines and taking corrective action in a timely manner.Using your knowledge and skills, the technician will: perform regular PMs, perform duties both independently and in a team environment, serve as the point of contact for other departments and personnel, provide documentation of completed tasks in the SAP work order system, keep the maintenance team and supervisor informed on machine function and any issues to repair.You will serve as a technical expert for maintaining production equipment required to produce products with minimum downtime.Our client wants candidates with technical hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics for troubleshooting and repair of equipment.You must show the ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.You will be an active part of the continual improvement process programs and will need strong communication skills needed to clearly and frequently with production and quality departments on equipment issues and anticipated corrective actions including time estimates.Schedule is rotating, candidate can expect to work 2 days on 2 days off and 7 days out of every 14 days with occasional weekends and overtime. Both day and night shifts are available. Schedule is published at least 60 days in advance.$26 - $36/hour depending on experience level. Typically, there is mandatory overtime of 8 -10hours per week, more is available if desired, full benefits, 401k, profit share.
