Position: Construction Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily and commercial construction and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate cost assessments that align with project scopes and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for multifamily and commercial construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate pricing data.
• Identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and scope discrepancies.
• Prepare bid proposals and participate in bid presentations as needed.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of costs, subcontractor relationships, and industry trends.
• Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize budgets while meeting project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on multifamily and commercial projects.
• Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanSwift) and MS Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of local Orlando market conditions, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
