2J Supply is a - GROWING - Wholesale Distributor of Heating & A/C (HVAC) products. Headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, with 11 Branches located in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Indiana. We supply HVAC residential contractors with a full selection of equipment, exceptional service, technical support, job site delivery and HVAC training. Ultimately, giving the homeowner the comfort, they expect.

Reporting to the President, with leadership responsibility for 11 Branch locations, this role focuses on:

Customer Experience

  • Establish and lead a culture emphasized on Customer Service.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager to identify operational capacity, potential sales opportunities and improving our cost to serve.

Employee Experience

  • Identify current and future talent needs and development opportunities.
  • Provide clear expectations and visible leadership to our Branch Managers and their teams.
  • Actively coach and mentor branch leaders
  • Lead employee engagement activities, actively seek feedback and own action items to support employee retention and communication.
  • Champion a pay for performance culture
  • Lead change management efforts throughout the organization.

Branch Operations

  • Assess warehouse and delivery operations and develop strategies that support the most efficient footprint and customer delivery model.
  • Define, communicate and establish accountability for KPI's that measure and deliver results.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate on annual P&L budgets and regularly monitor progress.
  • Review, assess and implement appropriate system tools to support the operations.
  • Ensure accuracy and accountability for inventory control & warehouse layout.

Project Management

  • Lead and implement business projects.

Safety

  • In partnership with the HR team, lead and support a Safety Culture across the organization.

Here is what we are looking for...

Requirements:

  • 10+ years management experience
  • 5+ Years combined experience in Customer Service and Logistics/Warehouse
  • 5+ Years of leading teams in a multi-site environment.
  • Experience with financial budgeting and managing a P&L
  • Project Management Experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Travel 70% to our Branch locations with some occasional overnight stays.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a Lean Environment, leading Continuous Improvement Projects.
  • Six Sigma Designation
  • WMS implementation experience
  • Strategic Planning
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Effective communication and facilitation skills
  • Leadership Skills
  • Data Analysis & Problem Solving
  • Ability to Influence and act with a high sense of urgency and prioritization.
