This position is located at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Mutilated Currency Division. As a Mutilated Currency Specialist, you will undertake reconstructing and identifying partially and totally destroyed, including white ash residue, and/or mutilated currency.DutiesThe following are the duties of this position at the GS-11. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position.As a Mutilated Currency Specialist, you will:RequirementsQualificationsYou must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.For the GS-05, you must have three years of general experience, one year of which was equivalent to at least the GS-4 level in the Federal service.General experience for this position includes:Experience assisting or participating as part of a team that examines cases or claims.ORYou may substitute education for general experience as follows: a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.ORYou may qualify on a combination of education and experience.
