All duties are to be performed in accordance with Sunseeker Resorts, state, departmental, property policies, practices, and procedures. Job Duties
- Provide nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and other related services.
- Maintain the safety of all guests by providing clean and sanitary work environment, including sanitizing, disinfecting, and sweeping, as necessary.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all products and be informed of the latest trends in nail care services and techniques.
- Maintain state issued guidelines, complete daily service logs for pedicure stations.
- Provide excellent customer service by completing services promptly in the time allotted.
- Practice teamwork, create a positive work environment, warmly interact with fellow team members and thank them when they lend assistance.
- Maintain professional and courteous behavior to all guests and employees.
- Dispose of soiled linens as needed.
- Stock workstations and inform management of necessary inventory needing to be replaced.
- Check equipment for damage or need for repair.
- Perform all other job-related duties as requested.
Minimum RequirementsCombination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates. Candidates will need to be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Completion of 240 hours in nail courses at accredited Cosmetology school
- Florida State Cosmetology License and all other mandated industry standard licenses
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Nail Technician
- Previous experience working in a similar hotel, resort or luxury nail spa setting.
Other Minimum RequirementsExcellent customer service skills
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines.
- Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment.
- Excellent organizational skills, with particular attention to quality and detail
- Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all guest contacts
- Professional appearance and demeanor
