Nanny/ Family Assistant - The Wellington Agency : Job Details

Wonderful family in Palm Beach are looking for a long term candidate to join them as a Nanny/ Family Assistant. All duties are outlined below: Family Overview:

• 4 boys aged 5, 4, 2, and one due end of March
• 2 year old has half-days until 12:30PM, 4/5 year olds have full day until 3:00PM
• Completely peanut-free household due to severe allergies
• Completely non-toxic household

Needs:

• High energy, fit person who would enjoy a hybrid role
• Nanny AND house assistant / house keeper (not a deep cleaner) / mother's helper
• Wednesday - Sunday schedule
• Spanish speaking
• Experience with multiples and young children required
• Newborn experience preferred
• Interactive person who can play with children - games/learning activities/imaginative play
• Perfume/fragrance-free and makeup-free
• Shoe-free household
• Scrubs uniform required
• Must work well with others - will work alongside current nanny and house cleaner
• When not taking care of children, will work on all other needs in household
• Proactive energy is absolutely required - cannot sit and wait to be told what to do, must find new projects or new things to take care of within the household
• Must be able to travel to Nantucket for Summer (late June - end of August)

DUTIES Kids' Playroom:

• Sunday afternoon toy clean up
• Sunday afternoon toy rotation - switch what is available for kids to grab / theme if possible
• Organize toy closet and cabinets
• Write down needs for arts & crafts or supplies that are low

Kids' Rooms:

• Organize bookshelves
• Return toys to their proper place
• Rotate books for seasonal needs
• Rotate books for grabbing for night time reading
• Look at closets and drawers - tidy/organize if necessary

Kitchen/Pantry Management:

• Food inventory & grocery list
• Organize fridge
• Organize pantry / children's snacks
• Clean / organize fresh food in fridge
• Clean up kitchen multiple times a day / as needed

Laundry:

• Manage kids' laundry daily
• Diligently wash / stain remove (non toxic products only)
• Iron and hang all button shirts / t shirts / polo shirts
• Iron and fold all shorts & pants
• Neatly fold pajama bundles together

Around the house:

• Refresh flowers - trim / fresh water
• Unpacking groceries / boxes
• Fill tissue boxes
• Take out cardboard boxes to dumpster
• Polish frames / glassware
• Light grocery store runs (all other groceries or items ordered/delivered)
