Nanny - San FranciscoDepartment: Core CareEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: San Francisco, CACompensation: $30.00 / hourDescriptionWe're currently looking for a Nanny in San Francisco, CA (94107)A lovely family in San Francisco is seeking a nurturing and experienced Nanny to care for their 18-month-old son during working hours, Monday through Friday. The position can be either part-time (afternoon) or full-time, depending on the provider's availability. The family is looking for someone who is passionate about providing quality care and has experience working with toddlers.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm (start time & end time is flexible)
  • First 2 weeks: Paid trial period, half days
  • First 2-3 months: 4 days per week (e.g., Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday)
• Start date: January 13, 2025
• Length of Position: Long term (minimum 6 months)
• 1 Child: 18 months old

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, interactive care for a toddler
• Engage in age-appropriate enrichment activities
• Create a fun and safe environment
• Follow nap schedule
• Serve snacks and meals
• Diaper changing and assisting with potty training
• Transportation is preferred, with access to the family vehicle (insurance provided)

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience working with toddlers
• Experience with potty training
• Limit phone usage and distractions while the child is awake
• Fluent in English
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Child development education is a plus
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Driver's license (driving is preferred, but not required)
• CPR certification (or willingness to become certified)

Compensation + BenefitsPosition pays $30 per hour and the family is looking for 20 to 40 hours per week (depending on providers availability), long term.

• 1 day of accrued personal time off per month
