Nanny Wanted - The Berni Family Seeking Child Care - Nanny Lane : Job Details

Hello, we are looking for a nanny to care for our 2M old daughter (full day) & 3yr old son (half days/school breaks). This is a full time payroll position with 40 guaranteed hours/week and PTO + holidays. Duties include:- Feeding, playing, and assisting in structuring appropriate infant schedules as she grows & changes- Preschool pick-up from 3 yr olds part time program into nap and playtime with him after nap. He has to spend time outside in nearly all weathers.- Occasional baby related care such as laundry, food prep - Collaboration with parents. Mom is still on mat leave looking for support while dad travels during the week. Both parents WFH when working.Candidates should have:- Eligibility to work in US; this is a payroll position- Minimum 3 years full time nanny or daycare experience, with at least one year with the same family/employer. Our “perfect” candidate has seen a family through infancy to preschool age and can provide references to that effect. We're looking for the professional/career nanny!- Some schedule flexibility. Starting schedule is 9-5 M&F and 12-8pm TWTh. We're looking for someone who has flexibility for the shift hours to change to 9-5 M-F in March when mom goes back to work. Long term we would like to occasionally adjust for a date night etc.- Ability to juggle two kids with different needs. Mom will provide a lot of support for the first few months but there will be times nanny is in charge of both kids.- Knowledge of infant/early childhood development. We're looking for someone to help us create the optimal schedules for our daughter- Clean driving record & reliable transportation- Current CPR certification- Can pass a background check & reference check. Bonus points for existing Trustline records!- Comfort with pets, we have both cats & dogs. No pet care required.- Comfort with a more “traditional” sick policy, meaning care still occurs for colds but not fever, vomiting, rashes.
