May lift up to 100lbs occasionally and up to 50lbs often. Assistance is available for heavy lifting. Workers will bend, squat, kneel, climb, twist and reach above shoulder level on an occasional basis. Will use hands for grasping and pushing/pulling at a 25 - 30lb level. Worksite is 10% inside and 90% outside. Exposed to all temperatures and all moisture ranges. Hazards are mechanical, electrical, and ice/snow. Uniforms are supplied. Sensory skills of vision, hearing, touch, smell and speech are needed. Must be able to maintain control and rational demeanor in emotionally charged situations involving guests and/or employees in situations that may have an audience. Will ski/snowboard carrying heavy loads. Will shovel snow.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:Must be able to provide an extensive understanding of the mountain area as well as the services of Schweitzer Mountain.
