What You'll Do:

ECS Limited is seeking an experienced leader to join our Environmental team in the Southeast US. As our Natural Resources Department Manager, you will oversee operations, technicians and project managers, project deliverables, proposals, and contribute to business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Commitment to manage the department for continued growth with a strong emphasis on business development and marketing initiatives
  • Leading and mentoring a team of environmental technicians and project managers (5 - 10 staff), overseeing environmental services projects and report reviews, preparing proposals for environmental services, managing departmental P&L, and assisting other senior staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
  • Supervision of employees and daily management of the department
  • Project and budget management
  • Coordinating effectively with regulatory authorities
  • 404/401 permitting
  • May involve report preparation duties based on the needs of the department
What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Geology or a discipline related to Environmental Science; MS preferred

  • 10+ years of Geology, Environmental Engineering or related experience

  • PWS, Soil Scientist Licensure, and/or PE designation
  • Wetland/stream delineation experience
  • Navigating complex 404/401 permitting in the Southeast US

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business Development acumen
  • Stream restoration experience
  • NEPA experience
  • DOT experience
  • Threatened and Endangered Species assessment/survey
  • Coastal zone permitting
  • Storm water design experience
