Our client is seeking a Field Service Engineer/Test Technician to join their Quality Assurance team. This role involves troubleshooting, problem resolution, and initial equipment startup at customer sites. You will also provide factory testing for products like amplifiers, alarm systems, and communication equipment. This position will require you to travel approximately two weeks per month to support field services and, when not traveling, you will assist with production testing of various electronic systems.The ideal candidate will have experience with troubleshooting complex analog and digital systems, including identifying issues at the component level. As a veteran with an IC, ET, or FC background, you will likely be comfortable with reading and interpreting schematics, as well as working with field-replaceable components. Navy shipboard experience is a plus, and an active security clearance would be beneficial. If you're familiar with system setup, testing, and training, you'll fit right in.In addition to technical expertise, strong communication skills are needed to collaborate with engineers and production teams. A background in electronics, either through an associate degree or military experience, is required.
