Stanley Consultants, Inc is currently seeking a Navy Account Manager.

As an Account Manager, you will serve as Stanley Consultants' Federal Market lead for sales with U.S. Navy clients to build and sustain our relationships, lead the capture, pursuit, and delivery of work, achieve complete client satisfaction with our work, and leverage relationships to benefit the client and the firm. Your primary focus will be the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) but will also include Navy Major Commands, Commander, Naval Installations Command (CNIC), Navy Reserve, and various installation-level contracting activities and Public Works Departments.

In this position you will be responsible for building relationships; developing business intelligence; identifying opportunities, developing capture plans; leading pursuits; and negotiating contracts for program management, military master planning, programming, design, post construction award services, and asset management services. Experience in the execution of major NAVFAC MILCON, FSRM, ERCIP, and/or Contingency Construction programs is highly desired. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, team-focused individual; will have 15+ years of professional experience on NAVFAC projects; and will possess a desire to grow personally and professionally as part of a high-performing sales team.

As Navy Account Manager, you will:

  • Work with existing Navy clients to identify project opportunities and develop task orders.
  • Gather business intelligence regarding potential market opportunities.
  • Develop partnerships with our Navy clients to support their growth objectives.
  • Develop relationships and position the firm to compete for major contracts.
  • Support the delivery of projects to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Leverage relationships with existing Navy clients to expand our service offerings.
  • Establish new relationships to grow new Navy clients.
  • Coordinate with Client Service Managers to prioritize, de-conflict, and guide capture and pursuit activities.
  • Manage relationships with industry partners and alliances.
  • Network within client and industry professional organizations, including think tanks and the policy community, to leverage business development objectives.
  • Develop internal relationships to support the overall growth and success of Stanley Consultants.
  • Develop a record of growth and client satisfaction with the Navy account.

Additional Information: Business travel to client sites and offices for meetings will be required for this role. Participation in organizations such as the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and others will also be required. The location of this position will be negotiable, but proximity to a major NAVFAC echelon headquarters desired.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of proven successful project execution and business development experience with Federal agencies.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Architecture, Science, or related field from an ABET accredited college or university.
  • Experience in marketing activities to include business intelligence, promotion, positioning, pricing, delivery, and performance assessment.
  • Established relationships within NAVFAC to support growth of facility and infrastructure related consulting services for Stanley Consultants.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and to represent the client to the firm's leadership.
  • Ability to lead large-scale, complex contract pursuits.
  • Experience successfully executing NAVFAC projects within fixed budgets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Navy Civil Engineer Corps military service
  • Registered PE, RA, or PMP
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Science or Business Administration
  • Active Security Clearance
