Overview The Nursing Care Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all direct nursing services to patients/residents in collaboration with the unit nursing staff. The Nursing Care Coordinator functions as a geriatric nursing specialist, and resource to the staff on the units and to other institutional departments as necessary. Job Details MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Program or an accredited College RN degree. Experience/skills: Minimum of three (3) years experience in long term care or a combination of long term care and acute care. Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long term care. Licensure: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State. Salary Range USD $60.00 - USD $67.00 /Hr. The pay for this position ranges from $60.00-$67.00 This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
