In 27 years, over 23 million credentials have been delivered to students and craft professionals through the NCCER program nationwide. Role Overview Pearson's Executive Directors manage a multi-channel focus including post-secondary, CTE, associations, state and federal government, business, and industry. EDs are consultative sales professionals driving a programmatic approach to address recruitment, retention, placement, and partnerships. EDs lead with the value of industry-based credentials and the depth/breadth of industry affiliations including Sponsorship, Testing, and leading to employability/advancement continuum. The Executive Director is at the forefront of transforming learning. Pearson puts the learner at the center of everything. You would be responsible for creating effective and innovative sales solutions that address issues and challenges facing instructors and students/apprentices to meet necessary educational and performance outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a quantifiable record of success with a demonstrable ability to meet and exceed goals. A strong interest in digital media and applications to learning is a must. This is a hybrid role combining remote sales with field sales and requires 20-25% travel, including overnights. Responsibilities
- Meet/exceed performance goals expressed as % growth.
- Employ effective selling techniques including pre-call planning, effective opening, and productive questioning strategies that lead to a close.
- Demonstrate superb organizational and follow-up abilities.
- Manage and grow a multi-million-dollar territory comprised of post-secondary, CTE, associations, state and federal government, business, and industry clients.
- Maintain expert product knowledge around Pearson technologies, the educational industry, and factors influencing the market environment; use promotional materials to support marketing messaging through email and social media.
- Exhibit strong presentational skills.
- Demonstrate teamwork through sharing best practices and working with cross-functional teams.
- Implement company initiatives into sales territory - Maintain positive relations with clients, Pearson Partners, and Pearson Authors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of outstanding sales experience in Education/EdTech or related industry.
- Proven success in consistently exceeding sales targets.
- High aptitude and enthusiasm for the end-to-end sales process.
- Experience in managing a variety of learning solutions across a diverse portfolio.
- Proven experience networking with and influencing decision-makers.
- Exceptional verbal and written communicator.
- Proficiency with Office tools, mobile technologies, computer applications, and business systems.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location.
