Nephrologist - Tandym Group : Job Details

A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Nephrologist to join their growing team at one of their facilities in the Bronx.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Setting: Mix of Inpatient & Outpatient duties
• Call: Rotated (1:3 pager weekday pages; 1:4 weekend onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat kidney diseases, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and end-stage renal disease
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
• Manage patients on dialysis
• Conduct office visits for follow-up care, medication management, and patient education
• Handle hospital rounding and admissions for nephrology patients
• Round at dialysis centers to monitor treatment progress and address patient concerns
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
• Completion of Nephrology Fellowship
• Board Certification / Eligibility in Nephrology
• NYS medical license
• Strong clinical skills and excellent bedside manner
