RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's notable HealthCare client is looking to bring on board a Network Engineer to the team! This role will be hybrid in Fairfield, CA 2 days onsite once full ramped up with the initial ramp up time being 3-4 depending on your experience.Summary:Currently the client is in the middle of an enterprise O365 deployment. They are getting through pilots, and they need to get through 1,000 more users.Duties/Day to Day Overview:* Network Engineer will configure new network components in a controlled environment* Assist in the administration and deployment of networking components (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Security Appliances, Modems, etc.)* Assist in the administration and deployment of Remote Accessibility components (VPN Concentrators, Site to Site VPN tunnels, SSL VPN gateway and Cloud Computing)* As a Network Engineer, you will monitor and maintain network equipment for optimal performance* LAN connectivity troubleshooting with various switching protocols, layer 3, 4 routing and switching* WAN with ISPs, and application vendors/partners to diagnose, and resolve technical issuesREQUIREMENTS:Experience with designing, setup, configuring, and maintaining Cisco Systems and environments:* Routing and switching experience* 9k series experience* Implementations experience* Storage with (Cisco) experience* VOIP with (Cisco) experience* Meraki wireless experience* Silver peak experienceThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
