Network Engineer - Beacon Hill : Job Details

Position Summary: Beacon Hill is seeking a skilled Network Operations Engineer for a social media client here in Los Angeles. In this role, you will handle pre-approved network changes and configurations while working hand in hand with the Network Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute maintenance tasks, including pre-approved network changes and configurations on firewalls or Arista systems.
• Handle network modifications using FortiGate devices.
• Manage Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) settings and configurations.
• Provide networking support for the Service Desk team and escalate issues to Sr. Network Engineers as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work closely with end-users and technical teams.
• Hands on experienc with Arista is preferred but not mandatory

Desired Skills and ExperienceThis network engineer will partner with the existing team in handling troubleshooting issues that are escalated by the service desk in addition to taking on new projects as assigned by management. Expected work will include firewall configuration, network resilience testing, and experience with VLAN
