Network Engineer - Piper Companies : Job Details

Zachary Piper Solutions is searching for a Network Engineer to join an innovative Government Technology Solutions firm.The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. This position is located on-site in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The Network Engineer requires a deep understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software, as well as the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.Responsibilities of the Network Engineer: •Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.•Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.•Configure and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and SD WAN experience.•Collaborate with IT team members to develop and implement network policies and procedures. Qualification of the Network Engineer: •Active Secret DoD Clearance.•Relevant certifications; Security +, CCNP preferred.•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.•Strong Cisco switching/routing experience and SD WAN experience.
