Network Administrator
We're seeking a skilled professional to oversee and optimize network hardware, interfaces, and deployments, as well as provide network analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and configure network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN systems.
- Build and test new interfaces, deploy hardware, and ensure network stability.
- Conduct network analytics, monitor activity, and report findings.
- Support network security through configuring firewalls, VPNs, and implementing enterprise security protocols.
- Integrate load balancing solutions, DNS, and DHCP.
Technical Qualifications:
- Expertise with FM, Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center (formerly Firepower Management Center) Data Sheet.
- Strong Access list policy knowledge.
- Cisco Viptela (Sdwan) - 1000 series router
- Cisco routing and switching -BGP, OSPF, MPLS , EIGRP, OMP, Spanning tree
- SolarWinds , Tripwire knowledge
- Proficiency with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN devices (CCNA or Cisco CCNP level certification required).
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols (SNMP, multicast, 802.1x, 802.1q, 802.1d).
- Experience with load balancing integration, enterprise hardware, and network security best practices.
- Familiarity with x86 Microsoft Windows servers, storage solutions (e.g., EMC, IBM, HP, PURE), and mobile devices.
- Expertise with enterprise software, including VMWare, LDAP, and MS Exchange, along with OS and network configurations (Windows Server, Citrix, TCP/IP, L2/L3 switches).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and Visio.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Unified Computing Systems (UCS), additional network/hardware vendors like Juniper or Alcatel/Lucent.
- Experience with critical infrastructure sectors (Utilities, Oil & Gas, Industrial Manufacturing, etc.) and OT network hardware systems.
- Familiarity with NERC CIP v5 compliance.
- Network monitoring experience (Solarwinds, Tripwire) and load balancing solutions.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement available for site visits).
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Capability to execute architecture and design plans through stabilization phases.
