Title: Network Engineer

Location: Independence, OH 44131

Schedule: Hybrid – onsite 3 days a week (they can choose)

Pay Rate: $55-70/hr

Must-haves:

• 5+ years' experience in Network Engineering, specifically in a CISCO environment
• Expert level understanding supporting LAN, WAN, wireless and voice networks
• Knowledge and experience administering “Next Generation Firewalls” and IPS policies
• Knowledge and experience administering on premise and/or Cloud VoIP solutions
• Exposure to IT/OT Network Switch
• Expertise with virtualized environments, VMware strongly preferred
• Knowledge and experience with cybersecurity control frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO, and CIS)

Plusses:

• Palo Alto / Firewall experience
• Knowledge and experience implementing and supporting SD-WAN, iWAN or DMVPN solutions

Day to day:

Insight Global is looking for hire a Network Engineer for one of our largest clients in Independence, OH. This position will be responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and optimizing new and existing voice and data networking solutions. This person will ensure reliable network operation across multiple data centers, plants, production facilities and offices. This hands-on individual will assist with the network architecture and design, engineering and administration for all network, telecommunications and security related hardware and software components. 60% of this role will be incident and problem resolution while 40% is request project management. 10% of this position will be traveling to locations outside of Ohio.
