In this role, you'll provide mentorship and support to fellow team members while troubleshooting and optimizing networks to meet the needs of our users. Your responsibilities will encompass the design, implementation, development, maintenance, security, and optimization of both new and existing network and system hardware, software, and communications.To excel in this position, you should possess outstanding problem-solving skills and possess a deep understanding of network administration and architecture. Your primary objective will be to establish networks that cater to our organization's requirements.Responsibilities

• Design and deploy functional networks, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SDWAN.
• Configure and install software, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Provision, upgrade, optimize, and manage SAN storage and other data storage solutions, with preference given to experience with EMC.
• Design and manage the Office 365 environment, integrating it with on-premises services.
• Manage and maintain telephony systems, specifically Webex.
• Monitor network performance and integrity.
• Resolve escalated issues by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.
• Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
• Provide mentorship to team members on technical issues.
• Create, oversee, and test security measures, such as access authentication and disaster recovery.
• Communicate with users when necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to procure network products and services.
• Knowledge of billing and budget management, particularly in the telecommunications area, is a plus.
• Suggest improvements to enhance network performance, capacity, and scalability.

Education & Experience

• A two-year university/college degree in a computer-related field and three years of related work experience, or six years of related work experience.
• Certifications in relevant computer technology areas such as CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE4-7, Microsoft Certificates like AZ-900 and/or AZ-104, MCITP, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in managing and configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, SDWAN, WLANs, VPNs, etc., in a corporate multi-site environment.
• Exceptional technical knowledge of network and server operating systems.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, including servers, routers, bridges, switches, network interface cards, and installing network cabling, both copper and fiber.
• Three or more years of hands-on experience with networks, with a preference for Cisco, communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP), routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), and a solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS).
• 2-3 years or more years of hands-on experience with cloud environments, particularly MS 365/Azure.
• 2-3 years or more years of hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, including Nutanix and VMware.

Really nice to have:

• 2-3 years or more years of SAN network storage configuration and management, preferably with EMC.
• 2-3 years or more years of hands-on experience managing telephony systems, specifically Cisco Call Manager (both hardware and software) and Webex calling/Broadworks.
• 2-3 years or more years of hands-on experience with Microsoft servers and configurations, including operating systems (all levels), SQL, Exchange, Active Directory, and Azure.
