Job Title- Network EngineerLocation: Hybrid - Houston TX Job Description- II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

• Plan and implement network projects using Fortinet and Sierra Wireless products and best practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage and update network documentation and inventory.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other IT staff.
• Research and evaluate new network technologies and solutions. III. Supervisory Responsibilities
• No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
• Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers.
• May lead project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments of lower-level employees. IV. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. A. Education and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and five (5) years of relevant work experience. B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
• None required, but prefer FCX, FCP or FCA C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
• Strong knowledge and experience with Fortinet switching and firewall products, including FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer
• Strong knowledge and experience with Sierra Wireless cellular devices, including AirLink routers and gateways, AirVantage cloud platform, and SIM management.
• Experience with network protocols and services, such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, VLAN, QoS, etc.
• Experience with network security and compliance standards, such as PCI, HIPAA, NIST.
• Certifications in Fortinet NSE and Sierra Wireless are preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
