Network Services Engineer - Albany, New York : Job Details

CTG is seeking to fill a Network Services Engineer opening for our client in Albany, NY.

Location: Albany, NYDuration: 12 months

Duties:

• Build VPN from start to finish
• Configure and manage Cisco firewalls, including firewall mapping and rule creation
• Work with DMZ and NAT spaces for secure network design
• Set up and manage network switches, including LACP configurations
• Manage High Availability (HA) setups with switched network experience
• Support cloud computing infrastructure
• Handle network data management and hardware capabilities

Skills:

• Strong Cisco firewall experience
• Expertise in VPN setup and configuration
• Knowledge of DMZ and NAT space management
• Familiarity with LACP setup and network switches
• Experience with High Availability (HA) in switched network environments
• Proficient in cloud computing and network data management
• Strong hardware capabilities understanding

Experience:

• 4-5 years of relevant experience in networking
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently

Education:

• Relevant degree or certifications in network engineering or similar fields

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
