MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by

an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education

Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of

Education (USDE). Major course work in Computer Science,

Management Information Systems, or a related field preferred.

Each year of experience as described below in excess of the

required four years may be substituted for thirty semester hours

from an accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis.

2. Four years full-time, wage-earning experience with automated data

processing systems in the installation of computers, printers,

communication devices, video surveillance, detection systems, servers,

or office automation software in a LAN or WAN environment.

3. Experience in current version of Windows operating system providing

technical support or maintenance in a customer service environment

preferred.

4. CompTIA Network+ Certification may be substituted for thirty semester

hours from an accredited college or university.

5. Cisco CCNA Certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) may

be substituted for thirty semester hours from an accredited college

or university.

6. Corning Fiber Installation (CFI) AND Corning Fiber Testing and

Troubleshooting (CTT) or equivalent manufacture certification may

be substituted for thirty semester hours from an accredited college

or university.

The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) will

be $5,098.67.

The following Military Occupational Specialty codes are generally

applicable to this position. Applicants must fully complete the

summary of experience to determine if minimum qualifications are met.
