Job DescriptionNetwork SpecialistLocation: Attica, OH 44807Employment Type: Direct-HireJob SummaryAccountable for coordinating and executing the launch and configuration of new card programs in relation to card networks, involving collaboration with both external stakeholders (card networks and processors) and internal teams (accounting and implementation).Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all activities related to requesting new ICA/BIN, including setup and certification processes.
- Manage all tasks associated with the termination of a card program, including the return of the ICA/BIN.
- Handle all activities related to the transfer of an ICA/BIN from another BIN sponsor bank.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for the implementation of new ICA/BIN projects and other related activities requiring support.
- Provide SME guidance on the daily management and updates to internal teams (Account Managers, Implementation, Compliance, and Legal) regarding BIN implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- Ensure proper network and account setup for new card programs, enforcing consistency, process compliance, and adherence to network guidelines with both internal teams and external partners.
- Develop and oversee network-related tasks within new card program plans and timelines to ensure successful implementation.
- Serve as the card network specialist for the Sutton Bank Payments team, ensuring network reporting and maintenance activities are properly executed.
- Coordinate compromised card reporting efforts with Program Managers.
- Maintain an updated and accurate listing of all Sutton BINs across networks and processors.
- Assist with quarterly reporting for all card networks to assess performance.
- Help review monthly invoices to assess Partner billing.
- Ensure card programs are in compliance with brand and rules standards set by card networks.
- Administer network portals, providing internal staff and Program Managers access to Visa Online, MasterCard, MC Connect, Discover Issuer Portal, and Pin Networks.
- Route necessary network communications to Program Managers.
- Keep Program Managers and Processors informed of new network rules and alerts.
- Ensure Program Managers are registered according to network requirements.
- Support the ongoing network reporting and maintenance needs of existing card programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, preferred.
- Three to five years of related card network experience and knowledge of card network regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in card network program implementation.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
