POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for providing daily tier two (2) technology and productivity-tool support, both desks and over the telephone. Responsible for providing additional expertise beyond the help desk call center and hardware technicians by integrating hardware, software, system administration, and networking knowledge.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
An associate's degree in engineering, computer science or related field and one year of experience required or three years of equivalent experience is required. Professional certifications from one of the following preferred: Certified Netware Administrator (CNA), Certified Netware Engineer (CNE), Master CNE, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), IBM AIX Certified System Administrator, Bay Networks Certification Programs, Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA), or COMPAQ ASE. Must have demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience in multiple vendor and platform environments is preferred.
