Job Description: Locum Neurologist - Albany, NYPosition Details:* Specialty: Neurology* Location: Albany, NY* Shift Type: Days (Monday-Friday, 8-hour days)* Documentation System/EMR: EPIC* Weekend Requirements: None* On Call Requirements: None* Practice Setting: Outpatient ALS office (100% outpatient, 100% adult patients)* Average Patient Load: 6-7 patients per dayJob Responsibilities:* Outpatient Neurology : Focus on ALS patient care in an outpatient setting* Patient Care : Provide evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for ALS patients, working independently (no other neurologists present)* EMR : Use EPIC for patient documentation and record-keepingCandidate Requirements:* Board Certification : Required in Neurology or Palliative Care, Hospice, Physiatry, or Internal Medicine/Critical Care with experience in ALS* Licensure : Must have an active New York State license* Certifications : BLS and ACLS required* Experience : Relevant experience with ALS patients is strongly preferred
