Recruiter (Recruiting for Arbitrators)
Location: Brookfield Place, NY (Hybrid 2 days in-office, travel counts as in-office days)
Assignment Length: 4-6 months
Pay Rate: Up to $35.00 per hour for the right candidate

Job Overview:
We are seeking a professional, outgoing, and personable Neutral Recruiter to support arbitrator recruitment efforts. This individual will represent FINRA at recruitment events, engaging with potential candidates and educating them about the arbitration process. The ideal candidate does not necessarily need a recruiting background but must be highly personable, articulate, and comfortable with extensive in-person and phone conversations. They will be working closely with a hiring manager and must be someone who is easy to connect with and work alongside.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance the arbitrator roster by identifying and recruiting highly qualified arbitrators.
- Develop and execute a long-term recruitment strategy targeting key geographical areas.
- Research organizations backgrounds, missions, and demographics to identify potential recruitment targets.
- Engage with key industry groups and constituencies to build relationships and recruit arbitrators.
- Sit at a FINRA booth alongside employees at recruitment events, speaking confidently about the arbitration process.
- Conduct extensive in-person and phone conversations with potential arbitrators, maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Develop tailored recruitment messaging for conferences and prospective arbitrators.
- Screen and assess candidate eligibility, explaining application processes and training requirements.
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications to develop marketing campaigns and digital advertising strategies.
- Assist in developing social media recruitment strategies, creating content, and managing accounts (if applicable).
- Maintain data in the CRM system to track recruitment progress and candidate status.
- Organize arbitrator recruitment, retention, and appreciation events, handling logistics such as venue selection, catering, and event materials.
- Monitor and manage the recruitment budget, processing invoices and tracking expenses.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries regarding arbitrator opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Highly personable, professional, and outgoing with excellent communication and public speaking abilities.
- Prior experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or outreach roles preferred but not required.
- Strong research, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with event planning and logistics coordination.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital marketing, social media, and CRM/database management tools.
- Ability to travel as needed and manage expenses accordingly.
