Purpose & ScopeThe New Development Leasing Administrator (Part-Time) is responsible for providing administrative support to the leasing office at a newly constructed, luxury apartment building in Brooklyn. This role reports directly to the Leasing Manager and is responsive to the District Leasing Manager and other department heads. Responsibilities
- Reception/Office Management
- Answer and direct calls received at the property's leasing office
- Organize and schedule internal meetings and apartment tours using Outlook shared calendar and Yardi Rentcafe CRM
- Maintain proper lease file organization
- Ensure that the office is well-organized and properly stocked with supplies.
- Maintain, monitor and distribute leasing agent work schedule
- Data/IT/Reports
- Prepare reports and update leasing records for distribution
- Assist in distribution/collection of resident satisfaction surveys
- Tracking web page functions
- Conduct market surveys, comprehensive analysis and community research and outreach
- Update status reports and distribute performance summaries
- Broker Relations
- Manage database of partner brokers and conduct daily and weekly outreach with updates on pricing and availability
- Coordinate Broker open houses
- Training
- Train Leasing Representatives on existing, updated and new documentation requirements
- Identify and propose ways for improving onboarding procedure
- Paperwork
- Process applications and prepare leases for signing

- Willing to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
- Solution-oriented attitude
- Minimum one year of multi-family leasing experience
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work loads
- Strong attention to detail and well organized in a fast-paced environment
- Updated understanding of rent stabilization rules and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent customer service and follow-up
- Trained in Fair Housing regulations
- Articulate in written and verbal communication
- Flexible schedule: weekends required.
- Solid and consistent work history with excellent references
- Team oriented, self-motivated and positive
- Experience in hospitality and/or mixed-income buildings, a major plus
$29.00 - $34.00 hourly pay rate
