Job Title: New Goods/Inventory AssistantLocations:Goodwill North Central Texas4005 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, Texas Salary:Based on ExperienceWork Hours:FT (40 Hrs. per Week) Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.Benefits:Company paid basic term life, Paid Time Off, voluntary medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, and 401(k)General Job Duties:Coordinate and/ or oversee gathering all supplies and equipment needed for the breakdown, distribution, and/ or deliveries of new goods when orders arrive. Oversee the breakdown (confirming order) as part of preparing product for distribution/palletizing for all stores. Responsible for ensuring that new goods pallets are securely wrapped and appropriately labeled for each retail store.Maintain a safe, secure, and clean work environment.Record and monitor New Goods back stock inventory levels and the store fixture inventory at both the offsite and Campus locations. Oversee the shipping/receiving of store fixture items for all retail stores requests.Work with direct supervisor and Transportation Department to maintain efficient and safe ways to stage outgoing New Goods and/store fixture pallets, shipping/receiving of New Goods, and store fixtures for all retail stores.Periodically, responsible for the oversight to distribution team to provide instruction of the distribution process. Occasionally, deliver New Goods product to store locations, via Box Truck.Skills/Qualifications:Two years' experience (shipping/receiving) in logistics required. Preferred supervisory and/or leading teams experience. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, along with math and computer skills working with excel spreadsheets. After initial Goodwill training, must be able to pass Goodwill road driving test utilizing a Box Truck.Ability to motivate team members; effectively use and train the proper use of departmental distribution equipment (pallet jacks, dollies, stretch wrap machine). Sufficiently mobile to work in all areas of the new goods department and grounds; may be required to stand for extended periods of time. Must be creative, flexible, adaptable, and able to manage change; multitask and determine the priority level of assigned tasks/projects to completion.Physical Requirements:Ability to work in a warehouse setting which includes noise, some extremes in temperature, and dust.Walking, stooping, standing, reaching 6 feet (or can with ladder), pulling, pushing, lifting 50 pounds on a consistent basis, some heavier lifting pulling and/or pushing required at times; Good physical stamina.Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and other team members.Must be able to work standing for prolonged periods of time.Must be sufficiently mobile to work the entire facility. Legal Requirements: Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements, pass a drug test, MVR, physical assessment, and background check. Must have a clean driving record to operate an Agency vehicle.
