Job Description :
Position: New Homes Sales Consultant (Tulsa Metro) Status: Full-Time/Exempt Location: 5705 E 71st St, Suite 220, Tulsa, OK and various Tulsa Metro locations (indoor and outdoor) Hours: 11a - 6pm and 10am - 5pm General Purpose: To oversee community sales and to supervise the selling and closing process of new residential homes for buyers in the Tulsa Metro area. Supervision Received: Works under the direct supervision of the Area Sales Manager and Sales Director. Compensation:
  • Base Salary + Commissions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for community sales activities
  • Responsible for marketing community
  • Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging customers
  • Maintain an awareness of all promotions, advertisements and financing options.
  • Communicate customer requests to Area Sales Manager
  • Responsible for the up keep of show homes
  • Negotiating and signing contracts; set closings; work with lenders
  • Set goals and personal business plan
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
  • Present recommendations to the Area Sales Manager
  • Attend weekly meetings and communicate progress reports; attend all staff meetings
  • Visiting realtors and planing area events
  • Assist in any other duties as assigned
  • Attend public and marketing events; exhibits, seminars, national and sales training events
  • Responsible for coordinating the moving of show homes when needed
Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience in any industry preferred
  • Associate's degree or two years of college/university completion required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Public Relations or related field is preferred
  • Must be available to work 3 weekends per month
  • Must be flexible to work in different communities throughout the Tulsa Metro area (11am-6pm/10am-5pm)
  • Valid Oklahoma drivers license required
  • Reliable transportation is required to travel throughout the Tulsa metro area
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
  • Knowledge of basic sales tactics and operations
  • Marketing knowledge
  • Social media experience (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Knowledge of general office practices
  • Ability to understand financial facts related to buying homes
  • Ability to be flexible (schedule) and ability to work under deadlines
  • Ability to manage personnel
  • Ability to work with different personalities
  • Great people skills and self motivated
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Willingness to be a member of a dedicated team
  • Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in working with computers and other types of technology
Work Environment: Office environment. The noise level is moderately quiet. Exposure to outdoor work sites; dirt, dust, fumes, heat, cold, noise, odors, wetness, humidity, and darkness. Some bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, crawling, lifting, carrying, and walking. Subject to driving to various locations in varying weather conditions. Walking on uneven surfaces in varying weather conditions. Physical Demands: Occasionally required to sit and use their fingers, to handle or feel. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, and to stoop or kneel. Must be able to carry equipment up to 30 lbs. Occasionally outdoors.
