Job Description ***Only qualified Project Manager candidates located near the San Diego, CA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***Qualifications: Require 4 years related experience or equivalent training and experience and 2 years of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging experience Prefer 2 Utility experience and Project Management Certification Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams. Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate project teams, including engineers, installers, and contractors. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, technological advancements, and industry shifts Aptitude for addressing and resolving issues that arise during the project lifecycle.We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team in the rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) industry. This position will play a pivotal role in managing new projects for Client. Items include job scoping, project coordination, coordinating meter set tracking, and supporting charger commissioning. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, possess excellent communication skills, and be adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.Manage and direct projects within the department or business unit. Responsible for the development of work scope, budget, schedule, and resource requirements. Prepare, and present contracts for contractors or consultants to management. Manage the entire lifecycle of electrical projects, collaborate with clients, contractors (Electrical, Civil and Structural teams), and subcontractors, procure necessary materials and equipment, monitor project progress and address challenges, Ensure compliance with codes and safety standardsResponsibilities: Manage and coordinate all activities leading to the successful completion of projects including project scoping, timelines, cost estimates and design. Develop and maintain project parameters for project requirements. Provide direction to contractors, consultants, and project team. Coordinates input from and participation with various other departments within the Company as needed to meet project objective. 45% Analyze and determine regulatory impacts and requirements of the project. May build business cases and justifications. 20% Responsible for providing team/project goals and evaluating performance. Research and evaluate available contractors and consultants. Prepare, negotiate and approve or recommend approval of contracts. Negotiate contracts changes. 15% Manage related workforce planning, budget analysis, and prepare budget forecasts. 10% Testify before and/or prepare supporting documentation for Management 10% Perform other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties). Occasional Travel to Client various facilities
