Job Description ***Only qualified Project Manager candidates located near the Tampa, FL area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***Experience/Skills: Experience in Private Banking / Wealth Management / Retail Banking Extensive change management experience leading large-scale projects end to end, preferably gained within a consulting background Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and maintain engagement throughout the entirety of the program Experience of organising and conducting workshops to develop requirements and solutions Experience of documenting and tracking deliverables and provide accurate status updates to various audiences Experience of defining and documenting Target Operating models covering processes, roles and responsibilities Experience in delivering and leading the implementation of processes at scale impacting the organization as a whole or large portfolios of customers Experience in delivering or exposure to transformation / re-engineering projects would be a plusCompetencies: Demonstrated ability to digest and understand implications of complexity on business models Structured project management approach; formal qualifications would be a plus Self-starter, able to operate with limited supervision Accustomed to dealing with rapidly shifting priorities and changes in scope Able to operate at the appropriate level, understanding the detailed concepts while also understanding the big picture Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge of Private Bank / Retail Bank Must be able work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions Ability to learn/understand some technical implications of system design Willingness to challenge and improve existing processes Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mind-set Self-starter and a strong team player Demonstrable expertise in building and leveraging relationships Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present the key points to senior management via Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio. Strong Power Point skills preferredThe Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the execution of critical programs and strategic initiatives within Wealth. The role will require working across the entire Private Bank and the wider Franchise and will have extensive engagement with IT, Legal, Compliance, Product and Infrastructure partners as well as routine engagement with Senior stakeholders from the front line and business management functions. Key to success in the role is the ability to blend successful project management discipline with a good understanding of the subject matter to help shape the outcome. The role will involve interfacing with key senior stakeholders and internal clients across the organization and working to aggressive timelines and adhere to strict deadlines in order to ensure overall program success.Key Responsibilities: Execute and manage a key project of work by defining the necessary implementation plans Establish the appropriate project governance and manage on an ongoing basis Manage project resources across all workstreams to ensure delivery is inline with agreed plan and any points at risk are identified early and resolved or escalated as required Oversee the definition of detailed analysis working with Front Office, Product, Control functions and Infrastructure teams to understand the changes necessary to deliver the program Proven track record of delivering small to medium complex projects through direct engagement with stakeholders from various backgrounds and levels of the organization Lead and manage regular project meetings and steering committees as / when required through identifying, managing and escalating issues, risks, and dependencies as appropriate, while working with the various teams to define necessary solutions Oversee the development and lead the robust change plans to include internal & external communication and training plans Ensure changes are transitioned to the relevant teams in a sustainable way with the necessary enhancements to the control framework Previous experience of operating in a highly regulated environment with strict audit requirements and strong project quality management adherence Act as an internal consultant, working closely with relevant partners, in order to quickly understand issues and help lead the definition and implementation of the solution
