Job Description Required Education: • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent engineering experience Required Skills: • Minimum of 5 years of mixed IT experience- Minimum of 3 years of Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP) • Experience in one or more SQL or NoSQL databases like AzureSQL, MSSQL MI- Any cloud certifications (AZ-400, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar) • Deploying/Migrating mixed Cloud architectures (PaaS, SaaS, and/or IaaS) • Strong scripting and automation skills (Terraform, YAML, PowerShell, Python, ADO)- Technical Skills: Understanding of cloud computing technologies. Optionally, demonstrated hands on experience in one or more of the following: - O365 Ecosystem of applications - Purview, Teams, PowerApps, SharePoint, Intune, and other- Core IaaS: Compute, Storage, Networking, High Availability- Azure PaaS Services: Logic Apps, Azure Monitor/Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud, IoT suite, Advisor, etc.- Azure Virtual Desktop deployment and support • Deploying/Migrating mixed Cloud architectures (PaaS, SaaS, and/or IaaS) Preferred Skills: • SSO/Federation, AD/Azure AD, ADFS, MFA. • Preferred Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of Cloud experience, preferably Azure. • Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), YAML, Python, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, • Experience in implementing cost management solutions. • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and to communicate effectively with internal and external partners- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, Hub-Spoke model, On-prem, VWAN) • Experience in one or more SQL or NoSQL databases like AzureSQL, MSSQL MI- Any cloud certifications (AZ-400, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar) • Interest for Microsoft technologies, Azure cloud and will to constantly grow, learn and enhancing the skills in this area Senior DevOps Engineer is part of the IT Security Governance Risk and Control (GRC) Special Programs team, you will be the driver of both transformation and innovation. You will design, deliver, and operate solutions for various business capabilities and must possess fluency in cloud architecture, automation, and scripting. You will help move to Regulatory Compliant operating model that creates best-in-class, agile, and on-demand products and services. Job Responsibilities: • Do you have a bias for action Do you like to implement technology solutions and solve complicated problems that have material impact on organizations Would you like to drive Digital Transformation across commercial products and services at a 13 year-old industrial automation company If your answer is yes, Automation wants you to join its Information Technology organization and shape the future of our company. • What you will do: - Work with customer business units to use cloud services to achieve Compliance with Government regulations. - Work with external partners and Cloud Services Providers to coordinate with IT Technology SME and Business Engineers to deploy solutions. • Design and implement technical solutions for business problems- Design, code, and test new tools, solutions and services- Help teams use and implement best practices- Coordinate with other Cloud Engineers to align to Standards within the context of mandatory compliance. • Write high-quality code compliant with enterprise and industry regulations- Author and iterate technical documentation- Stay current with latest cloud tech and obtain/maintain cloud certifications • Act as a mentor and learner- always answer and ask questions- Translate architecture/road maps into implementable solutions • Help to accelerate the adoption of cloud services across the organization • Bring industry best-practices and new thinking to the team- Practice SAFE Agile principles
