Night Custodian - Hamilton School District #3 : Job Details

Summary:

The Night Custodian (Substitute) will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility during the night shift. This position will be on-call and will fill in for the full-time Night Custodian when they are unavailable.

Responsibilities:

* Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas

* Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors

* Dust and wipe down surfaces

* Empty trash and recycling bins

* Restock supplies such as toilet paper and paper towels

* Monitor and maintain the security of the facility

* Notify management of any maintenance or safety issues

* Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred

* Ability to work independently and efficiently

* Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning

* Strong communication skills to report any issues or concerns

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

* Flexibility to work on-call and fill in for the full-time Night Custodian as needed.

Must be able to pass a background check and physical test.
