Working Conditions:
Kent Center School serves students in grades PK-8. All employees work as a team in a respectful, caring environment. The school has a positive, welcoming tone, and a candidate must be friendly, flexible, and helpful to all co-workers and community members who are in the building.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Clean and maintain all rooms and hallways according to State standards and the school district.
* Set up and dismantle chairs and tables in multi-function rooms and gymnasium when needed.
* Perform minor repairs when needed.
* Assist in emergency situations as needed.
* Assist in snow removal.
* Pick up and remove the trash.
* Follow all safety rules.
* Assist in receiving and distribution of deliveries.
Hours/Days:
* Full-year position
* 8 hours/day
* Hours: 2 pm - 10 pm
Salary: $20.00/hour - $24.00/hour, based on experience
