Shift will begin after the conclusion of the school day (i.e. 4:00pm-12:00am). Salary Range: $15.25/hour Contact human resources in the district office with questions, 515-###-#### Scope: To provide safe, sanitary and well-kept grounds and facilities throughout the district for students, staff and public Reports to: Buildings/Grounds Director and Support Services Director Requirements: High School diploma; Knowledge of general cleaning, procedures, products and equipment; Knowledge of workplace hazardous materials information Performance Responsibilities:

• Clean and care for buildings and facilities in order to ensure they are maintained in a safe and sanitary manner
• Maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment, materials and supplies in a safe and orderly manner in order to ensure the safety of students, staff and the community
• Perform building maintenance where needed
• Assist teaching staff, coaches, adult education, and building rental groups in operation of school activities
• Assist in maintaining boiler and heating systems
• Read and understand labels and instructions especially in regards to cleaning chemicals and products
• Responsible for the security and safety of the building
• Ability to work with little or no supervision and adjust to unexpected situations
• On-call for emergency situations
• Ability to work in a team environment with staff, students, and the community
• Perform other related duties as required
